House of Excellence 201 has been a Bogota fixture for twenty years — a warm, unhurried room where Bergen County comes for color, cuts, and bridal hair they can trust.
Owner-stylist Manijeh opened House of Excellence 201 with a simple idea: make people feel beautiful and genuinely cared for, and make the visit something they look forward to. Twenty years later, that's still the whole point.
We're best known for balayage and dimensional color — and for bridal hair and makeup, where Manijeh got her start. But the heart of the salon is range: we color, silk-press, and style every hair type and texture, from fine straight hair to curls and coils.
We've stayed deliberately personal. You'll be greeted by name, your color is mixed for your hair and no one else's, and no appointment is rushed. It's why so many of our clients have been with us for ten years and counting.

Twenty years behind the chair, and still the first hands on most brides' hair. Manijeh specializes in balayage, dimensional color, and bridal styling — and trained much of the team beside her.
Her philosophy is the salon's: read the hair first, build the color custom, protect its health, and never rush the person in the chair.
